Sample Development FAQ
Find answers to common questions about custom plush slipper samples, costs, revisions, lead times, packaging, and bulk production.
Can you develop a sample from a photo?
Yes. We can work from reference photos, sketches, existing products, or written design concepts.
Do I need a technical drawing?
No. A clear photo, simple sketch, or product idea is usually enough for us to begin evaluating the project.
Can I add my logo to the sample?
Yes. Logo options include embroidery, woven labels, heat transfer printing, outsole logos, and other branding methods.
Can the sample be revised?
Yes. Shape, colors, sizing, logo placement, construction, and packaging details can be adjusted after your review.
How much does sample development cost?
Sample costs depend on the design complexity, materials, logo method, outsole construction, and packaging requirements. The quotation usually includes both the sample development cost and shipping cost. For bulk production orders of USD 1,000 or more, the sample development cost can be refunded or credited toward the production order.
What if the sample does not meet my expectations?
We can revise the sample based on your feedback. Adjustments using the same materials and manufacturing process are generally made without an additional development charge. Changes involving new materials, construction methods, or a completely new design may require an additional sample fee.
How long does sample development take?
Standard samples usually take 3–7 working days. Complex mascot or character designs may require 7–14 working days.
Is the approved sample used for production?
Yes. The approved sample becomes the reference for materials, construction, branding, and quality control during bulk production.
Can packaging be sampled together?
Yes. We can develop poly bags, hang tags, woven labels, barcode stickers, retail boxes, and other packaging options.
What is the MOQ for bulk production?
Our standard MOQ is 1,000 pairs, depending on the design, materials, and customization requirements.
